Thought

Hey Y'all, I've been inquisiting... yeah, not a real word.

Lately I have been realizing some things... but one thing has really stuck out to me and rang true for the most part. People really seem to compliment and encourage people that they think are the "lesser" person. Or a person that they think NEEDS encouraging. The minority in our society are the people that we really make sure that we LOVE WELL. Or we resolve to BE NICE to the person that isn't nice. We love to love people who are viewed as an outcast in society. Initially, I think this is a great thing about humanity. It is a reflection of God's kindness in us. We are moved to love people that stick out as different, a minority, or troubled.

So what about the people that we think have it all together? Do we encourage them? Actually lets ask another question: Who do we REALLY know that has it ALL together? I know no one. But the people that come off to us as "having it all together" are the ones we often encourage less. I would like to say that the people that act like they have everything together are the ones that may need the most encouraging. Let's not forget to love ALL people well and not just the ones that WE THINK need it the most. You never know what is behind the pretty smile.
