A: I would be a better person.
- I would feel less guilty... About not wishing acquaintances happy birthday, about not keeping up with people I will probably never see again, about not "liking" a family members status, about being the only family member who hasn't seen or commented on the latest photo album posted, about being the last friend to "like" a new life update, about loading way more photos than necessary, about spying on a former friend, and about denying friendship of strangers I have never met.... Yep it's a pretty guilty life on FB.
- I would live in the real world.... I wouldn't see only smiling faces, or only the best picture out of the 19 they took, and I would see that I would be a better friend to the people around me rather than holding onto old friends through a computer, and I would be more creative instead of copying other peoples latest date, recipe, or decoration, and I would have no comebacks in regular conversation instead of taking 5 minutes to be witty on fb chat..
- I would be smarter, bc I would read more books rather than get on fb.
What would the world be like........ without FB. Life's questions are just killin me these days.
Ahh so true Kaiti Marsh. Do we "give in" and go with the evolution of new technology to keep up with new ways of communicating/forming relationships? Or stick to our guns and "fall behind" with the risk of losing connections or completely miss out on new ones? I struggle with techonology and its role in my life.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a stellar FIRST COMMENT. I couldn't have done it myself.... also, cute picture..... must have been an awesome photographer. :)
