Sometimes we grow up.. well hopefully we all do... and you aren't around your whole family on your birthday who would normally make a big deal out of it.
Yes, sometimes... you are in an apartment all by yourself and you wake up and think: it's my birthday, what should i do?
My first thought: an AWESOME BREAKFAST. Food first people.
(instagram+breakfast=a great start to your birthday morning)
2nd: The Word. I'm not saying that I put food before you God, but sometimes I gotta have some coffee before I open up your love letter.
3rd: You go shopping!!! This is great especially if your family members haven't bought you gifts yet, because you can pick it up for them... if you get what I'm saying.. wink wink..
(oh and its a must to send pictures to your sister to make sure she approves of your purchase)
#4: you return to your apt to find that your BFF has sent you a piece of her very own art that you will cherish forever and ever and ever!
And last but not least.... get with your FRIENDS!!! Don't spend your birthday alone! We were made to be together and life is just that much better when we are. Happy 24th birthday to me! I am so blessed to have wonderful people in my life and this past year has been full of the blessings that God has given to me through them.
Today was a great day. I am excited for 24.
