Q: Are we on the subject of Love?

A: Why yes, yes we are....

Continuing on from my last post, I want to present a very interesting idea that my roommate and I were discussing this evening. 

Love languages. Anyone heard of them? Apparently there are 5. 

Words of Affirmation

Quality Time

Receiving Gifts

Acts of Service

Physical Touch

And we were wondering. Is the love language that you "speak" the same one that you would like to "receive"?

We thought... yes. 

And then we were thinking about the complexity of love and how you have to change your understanding of love in order to receive your significant other's form of love and ultimately feel loved by that act. OR do you have to change the love language that you innately give in order to make your significant other feel loved? 

You guys get what I'm saying? 

I mean Love is a complex thing and I just love asking these questions and figuring them out.

One more question: Should  you try and date someone that has the same love languages as you? OR is the process of changing your love languages for someone else a character growing process you need to experience? 

Anyone got answers? I'm fresh out.
